a seed planted

One of my favorite or most encouraging scripture is Romans 8:28
“And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.”

Today if you are saved, meaning you have given your life to Christ or that you are born again, this verse lets us know that whatever is going on in our life the situation is working toward our good. We may not initially know how it’s working for our good, especially if it’s uncomfortable for us.

When a child is being corrected he or she may not know or understand the transforming effects of correction. Nevertheless, the child may learn self-control, the art of being polite, and fundamentally they may learn that making bad choices ‘hurts.

Some hardship or trials of life we experience may come as correction.  God will allow correction as any loving parent would, nonetheless God loves us and wants what is best for us. God will use these trials as a training tool that will eventually work for our greater good.
