Loved one, Salvation is of the Father, and from the Father, through His Son and the power of the Holy Spirit. Salvation is a holy work of God that no man can boast (Ephesians 2:8–9). We cannot save ourselves, if we could what would we use to do so? Our good work? (filthy rags (Isaiah 64:6), A good heart (deceitful (Jeremiah 17:9), Our righteousness? (sinful (Romans 3:23) When it comes to Salvation we are totally bankrupt (Romans 7:18).
made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God” (2 Corinthians 5:21). This is an amazing truth. On the cross, Jesus exchanged our sin for His perfect righteousness so that we can one day stand before God and He will see not our sin, but the holy righteousness of the Lord Jesus.
We did nothing to gain it, what can we do to loose it?
